Introduction to the Company

Shine Blade Co. was registered in Dubai, the UAE, as SHINE BLADE FZC in 2010.

From the very beginning, the company's products were exported to the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman.

In 2012, the Tehran sales office was established as Tigheh Saz Derakhshan Co.

The company's factory is located in Damghan Industrial Park. In 2014, a workshop was launched in Tehran in order to perform the final processes of smaller products and provide services to clients more speedily. 

At present, more than one-third of the company's products are exported to the Persian Gulf countries.

Important considerations in the Design, Manufacturing and Use of blades


1) Design:

Some blades bear the original drawing of the machine’s manufacturer. Therefore, their design can be optimized. Blades without an original drawing are designed by the technical experts of our company with regard to the installation conditions, and critical parameters and their tolerances are determined. Our experts do this at the client’s site.

2) Selection of Raw Materials:

The most important parameter in the design and manufacturing of blades is the selection of proper raw materials. The raw materials of cutting blades are selected mainly from high-carbon alloy, cold work and hot work tool steels. There are many types of tool steels which are manufactured and standardized by the manufactures based on their uses. Therefore, selection of the raw material on the basis of the type and use of the blade is the major parameter in blade manufacturing. Selection of an improper alloy will lead to a shorter lifetime or to a blade cracking too early.

3) Manufacturing and Machining Processes:

The manufacturing processes must be in strict accordance with the prepared drawings of each process and tolerances determined. Or, the blade might turn out incapable of installing, or the blade fails to fulfill its function and does not do the cutting.

4) Heat Treatment:

Heat treatment cycles are different for each type of steel. Therefore, the standard cycle defined for a certain steel must exactly be met. Or, the hardness might turn out to be not the same across the blade surface, which will lead to the blade not functioning properly.

On the other hand, with the heat treatment performed in vacuum furnaces, all the operations, e.g. heating, quenching, and tampering, are performed in the same furnace by controlled gas, without moving the blade. Therefore, the blade temperature will not change to the ambience temperature, unlike gas furnaces, where the blade is taken out of the furnace and subjected to the ambient temperature before it is dipped in oil. That is why the quality of work in the case of gas furnaces is lower compared to that in the case of vacuum furnaces.

5) Final Grinding and Dimensional Accuracy:

The whole surface leading to the cutting edge must be ground. The grinding must be performed in accordance with the roughness standards defined for the surface and its dimensional accuracy according to the geometrical tolerances of the drawing, the blade will fail to function properly and will possibly produce burr during cutting.
